Who this is for

This Library is built for intermediate English learners who’ve hit the plateau. You’ve spent years on grammar rules. You can read articles and watch films without trouble. But when the pressure is on, in a meeting, an interview, a social event, the words won’t come out of your mouth the way you want them to.

That’s the Fluency Gap, and it’s what every resource in this Library is designed to close.

What’s inside

There are four things waiting for you as a paid member. Here’s a proper look at each.

1. Monthly Live Conversation Classes

Once a month on a Saturday morning, a small group of us get on a video call for an hour and actually speak English together. No lectures, no grammar drills. Real conversation on a fresh topic each time, with me in the room giving you feedback and hearing how other learners handle the same tricky moments.

This is the practice that’s genuinely hard to find as a busy adult learner, and it’s included with your membership. No extra fees, no per-class charges. Once a month, twelve times a year.

2. Courses

A growing library of short structured courses on the things that actually

trip professional learners up. Public speaking and presenting. Active listening in business settings. First impressions and meeting new people. The sneaky grammar mistakes that mark you out as a non-native speaker, like “-ed” and “-ing” adjectives or “for” and “since.” Plus a proper system for using films, podcasts, and reading to improve faster.

3. The Vault

This is where the toolkit lives. Grammar references for when you need to check a point quickly (modals, tenses, conditionals, passives, adverbs). Study templates for building your own vocabulary and phrasal verb systems. A real-world listening pack with five short recordings and a worksheet, for when you’ve got ten spare minutes. Interview prep for when you need it. And more is being added regularly, including a guided pronunciation audio launching in May 2026.

If the Monthly Class is the live practice and the Courses are the structured lessons, the Vault is the toolkit you reach for between them.

4. Speak Like a Brit: your member book

The same guide and workbook I sell on Amazon, available to download the moment you join. It’s designed to help you move past textbook English and start using the expressions, rhythms, and phrasing that native speakers actually use.

Practise English Live With Me, Once a Month

Once a month, on a Saturday morning, a small group of us get on a video call for an hour and actually use the English you’re reading about the rest of the month.

No lectures. No grammar drills. Real conversation on a fresh topic each time, the kind of speaking practice that’s genuinely hard to find when you’re a busy adult learner.

You get to try things out, stumble a bit, hear how others handle the same tricky moments, and leave with phrases and confidence you didn’t have an hour earlier.

Here's one of the classes we ran earlier this year:

I keep the group small on purpose so everyone gets airtime. You’re not a face in a crowd of fifty, you’re in the room, and you speak.

If you’ve been reading the Monday articles thinking “I wish I could actually practise this somewhere,” the class is where you do that.

This is once a month, included with your membership, no extra cost, no per-class booking fees.

How it works

• The class runs for 60 minutes, always on a Saturday at 9.30am CET.

• Each month has a new topic.

• You book your seat by sending a message at least 24 hours before the class, so I know who’s coming and can plan around the group.

What’s on the shelf right now

• Public Speaking and Presenting. The one people ask for most. How to open, how to land a point, how to handle the bit where your brain goes blank in front of ten people.

• Business Skills: Active Listening. The skill that makes you sound senior in meetings, even when you’re not. How to actually follow what’s being said, ask the question that moves things forward, and reflect back without parroting.

• First Impressions: Meeting and Greeting. The first thirty seconds of any professional interaction, done properly. Phrases that work, phrases that don’t, and how to stop introducing yourself like a nervous teenager.

• Common Mistakes: “-ed” and “-ing” Adjectives. The grammar slip that quietly marks you as a non-native speaker. “I’m bored” versus “I’m boring” is the famous one, but it goes deeper. Fix it once, keep it fixed.

• Common Mistakes: “For” and “Since”. The time-reference mistake that trips up even advanced learners. Short, focused, and you’ll never get it wrong again.

• Listening, Watch, Read, Write. A proper system for using the English you already consume (films, podcasts, articles) to actually improve your speaking. Most learners consume passively. This course shows you how to consume actively.
