You’re presenting a project update to senior stakeholders. Midway through, a director interrupts with a specific question about a number you don’t have memorised — something slightly outside the scope of today’s update. The room is watching to see how you handle it.
The Challenge
Write your response so that it:
· Respond without freezing or saying “I don’t know” and stopping there
· Buy yourself genuine thinking time without it sounding like stalling
· Bring the room back to your actual presentation afterwards
