Today, we're going to revisit and connect gerunds and infinitives to our theme this week of body language and gestures! These two forms of verbs are essential for building complex sentences, and they often describe the very things we've been studying!

The Gerund: A Verb as a Noun

A gerund is a verb that ends in "-ing" and acts as a noun. This means it can be the subject of a sentence, the object of a verb, or even follow a preposition. When we talk about actions or gestures in general, we often use a gerund.
