When your bank account is looking healthy, you don’t just have “a lot” of money. You have substantial or considerable funds.

To add flavour, use these adverbs to describe your financial situation:

  • Independently wealthy: This is the ultimate goal! It describes someone who doesn’t need to work because they have enough money to support themselves.

Example: “After selling her tech startup, she became independently wealthy and moved to the Maldives.”

  • Financially secure: This describes someone who is safe and stable. They aren’t “rich-rich,” but they don’t worry about bills.

Example: “It took ten years of saving, but I finally feel financially secure.”

  • Highly profitable: We use this for businesses or investments that make a massive amount of “moolah.”

Example: “The new café turned out to be a highly profitable venture.”
