Hi everyone,

One of the biggest hurdles to English fluency isn’t grammar or vocabulary - it’s confidence.

It’s easy to read a newsletter, but it’s much harder to find a low-pressure place to actually speak (or type) and connect with others.

Because I want this to be a place where you truly grow, I have a big announcement:

Previously, our community chat was reserved for paid members.

Starting today, I am opening the doors to every single person on this mailing list.

What is the Chat for?

• Daily Practice: I’ll be dropping “Quick Prompts” to help you practice intermediate grammar in a natural way.

• Direct Access: Have a quick question about a phrasal verb? Ask me there!

• Community: Meet other learners from around the world who are at your level.

How to join us

Substack Chat lives in the Substack App. It’s much more private than a Facebook group and easier to use than an email thread.

1. Download the app (available on iOS and Android).

2. Tap the “Chat” icon (the little speech bubbles) at the bottom.

3. Say “Hello!” Introduce yourself and tell us where you are writing from.

I’ll be waiting in there to welcome you. Let’s turn our “passive” reading into “active” fluency!
