Have you ever found yourself a bit confused about when to use "trip" and when to use "travel"?

Both words are about going from one place to another, but they have distinct uses that can make your English more precise.

Let's clear up the journey!

Think of it this way:

"Travel" is the general idea of going from place to place, the act of moving around, often over long distances. It's the broad concept of exploration and movement.

"Trip," on the other hand, is usually a specific, often shorter, journey to a particular place and back. It's a defined event with a start and an end.
