You have the vocabulary in front of you.

You hear it. You try it. You forget the word, somebody else uses it, and suddenly it is yours.

You debate.

You argue for it. Or against it. In English. With other adults who get it.

You leave the class with new words, new phrases, and a strange new feeling.

The feeling that yes, actually, you can have a real conversation in English!
